Bhavishya Purana is one of the 18 major Puranas of Hindu culture and is ranked ninth. If this Purana is seen from the point of view of subject matter and description style, then it is a special book. The Bhavishya Purana describes the events that will happen in the future.
Bhavishya Purana has also been called ‘Saur-Purana’ or ‘Solar Granth’, because in this Purana the glory and worship of Lord Surya Narayan have been described in detail. This Purana is full of collections of religion, virtue, policy, preaching, narrative, fasting, pilgrimage, charity, astrology, and Ayurveda. In the Bhavishya Purana, the events that have happened and the events that will happen in the future have been described. The description of all the present modern history is found in this Purana.
